Four month are over, incredible!
Four month of fantastic weather, magnificent beaches, virgin dive spots and -above all- amazing people I had the pleasure to meet here in beautiful Salalah!
Thanks to:
“Mama” Steffi and Filip from far away Oman Dive Center, who supported me in an outstanding way!
Nic, Yves, Mambo, Azzan and Ria for there great jobs in the divecenter!
Rudi of course, who will take over the center from now on; nice to work together with a professional guy!
Edward, the GM of Crowne Plaza, head of a always smiling and friendly hotel staff, who helped me whenever necessary!
Cyril, boss of the legendary “Oasis” club, for beer, bowling and beamer (but still I don’t understand cricket, sorry!)
And last but surely not least my “second best friend” Yousuf, whose support and neverending help made it possible at all! Thanx mate, tschukran habibi!!!

For sure I’m gonna miss my personal zoo, the parrots in the palm trees, the camels on the street, the goats in the shadow houses, the cows who are to small for a cow, the gazelles on our way to the dive spots, the flamingos on the beach, the dolphins, whales, mantas, sepias, nudebranches and all the amazing sea life of the indo-pacific ocean!

Well, I’m on my way to Spain, having Paella, Red Wine and good diving in the Mediterranean sea, looking forward to it! Have a look at www.rosessub.de!

But for sure I’ll come back to Salalah, there is a lot more to find out. The friendliness of the locals, the beautiful weather, the breathtaking views from Dhofar mountains and of course the amazing dive spots have captivated me and I’m already persuaded to stay more time in Salalah next winter. Meanwhile I will convince my guests in Spain of joining me during my next stay.

A last hint from my side: visit Rudi and his staff in the Extra Divers center in Crowne Plaza Salalah, you will love it!
